Panfruit Ukraine is a family-owned Ukrainian brand that combines a love for nature, cutting-edge technology, and environmental responsibility.
Our journey began in 2014 with the Medyk Vedmedyk brand, where we focused on producing natural honey—a tradition we continue to this day. In 2016, we expanded our operations by growing organic raspberries and strawberries with partners and exporting them to the EU. In 2020, we launched the Panfruit family brand, specializing in freeze-dried berries. Since then, we have been constantly improving and experimenting with new products. We became the first in Ukraine to receive an organic certification for freeze-drying, issued by Organic Standard in compliance with EU requirements.
Our Unique "30-Minute Rule"
This rule was born within our company while managing the process of harvesting fresh strawberries and raspberries. Our refrigeration complex and freeze-drying facility are located directly in the field. To maintain the highest quality and nutritional value, we use plastic containers of 1 kg for collecting fresh berries. This allows us to quickly fill them while preventing the berries from crushing each other.
As a result, we achieve premium product quality, as freeze-drying technology preserves up to 98% of the beneficial properties of the product. However, the final quality heavily depends on the frozen raw materials. Scaling this approach is challenging, but it distinguishes us from competitors. We also apply the same strict requirements to our partner farmers from whom we source our products.
